Nothing is permanent. Many lessons have to be learnt.
Do not worry about silence without – one has to be silent within. Stillness in all the turmoil. Do not get involved in outer turmoil – do not respond to it. The greatest sadhana is to remain total within.
That totality is stillness, non-movement, non-reaction to the world without. Watch at all times. There is no other way. The Path is only stones, but you do not have to trip over them – you can fly.
Remain calm within, untouched like a dew drop on a rose, which shines in the sun and eventually melts into and becomes the rose and, in becoming, feeds it.
Be terribly aware of your reactions, small as they may be; become more and more subtle in handling your thoughts and your actions will automatically be balanced – moving in a steady flow of loving and understanding.
